With Rob as part of ascent with Bein Achaladair . Starting at the car Park we walked through grasslands loaded with wild flowers and bird life up the flanking slopes of the steam. Ascending to the col and up the graded ridge to summit. Meeting only 4 people during the day it was a high level 13 mile round trip in perfect conditions. The summit ridge walk was spectacular, a steep descent from Beinn a Chreachain to the col before a climb up the flat slopes to Beinn Achaladair ensured the Munro status. We descended past the tarns shimmering in the summer sun. Followed the stream down to go under the rail way, crossing the river at its low flow rate and a long flat walk back to the car par through fields of grazing sheepwith their lambs. Passing farm buildings and what looked like a ruined keep we arrived back at the car. We had booked the hotel for the night in Crianlarich from the summit of Beinn Achalader so all was welldavid.walker4009/07/2022

cracking but very tough route as ran 8 mile before we starting climbing due to river crossing, couldn't get across at the start so went in reverse. Ran with Brian Smith 21.5 miles instead of 13.5!!Kevthecat16/06/2021
Not an easy choice for the actual summit so I walked along the edge taking them all in. Suspect it is the highest cairn on the traverseLizzieG28/04/2021
Clare & Skye - not the fastest - but a sunny day nevertheless. A bit of a faff getting past the farm at Achalader - good car park - rubish routing. Followed the railway tracks in - historic.Scmccabe 25/04/2021
With Sunny & Iain from Achaladair Farm. Superb views descending Beinn a'Chreachain over Rannoch Moor 3 Munros. Beinn Mhanach, Beinn Achaldair & Beinn a'ChreachainHuwel21/08/2020
Had a cracking day, on the hills with Nicky Creadland bagging two Munros; Beinn Achaladair (1038m) and Beinn a’ Chreachain (1081m) and the two subsidiary Munro Tops. Accessed from Achallader Farm off the A82 just north of Bridge of Orchy, it started a bit misty and the midges were out in force, but they had fled and the sun had come out by the time we reached the south Top of Beinn Achaladair. The views down to Loch Tulla and across Rannoch Moor were stunning, we had a slight confusion on the summit of Beinn Achaladair, as the summit photo was taken at the cairn at 1036m, rather than the actually summit at 1038m, but as we had walked over the summit, we still bagged the Munro. While ascending Beinn a’ Chreachain the mist came in, which denied us a view, but since we had already been spoilt with the views, I’m not complaining, 09:15 hours all in.chillyman819/08/2020

Parked at Pubil (end of public road in Glen Lyon) and cycled track along N shore of Loch Lyon to the ford in Gleann Meurain (NN394426) (easily crossed in current dry weather). Then up Beinn Mhanach and traversed across to Beinn a'Chuirn. Retraced to col between the two, and roughly followed the old fence line down to Lon na Cailliche (col to Beinn Achaladair). Then more or less straight up to Achaladair S Top and along ridge to main summit. Continued along ridge, down to col with Beinn a'Chreachain, ascended Meall Buidhe, then Beinn a'Chreachain. Retraced from there and along to the 961m top, before descending grassy slopes back to track in Gleann Cailliche, and return to Pubil.kdbennett11/05/2017
