From parking area by Achallader off A82. Followed stalkers path up beside Allt Coire Achaladair, and then up the southern shoulder to the S Top. The temperature did not go above freezing at any elevation, following a long wet period, so the path was like an ice-rink for much of the route. Decided not to revisit Beinn Achaladair's summit, so returned the same way. Total time: 4h 7min. | mproudfoot | 26/11/2023 |
DRC walk from Achallader Farm, BA South Top, Beinn Achaladhair, Meall Buidhe and Beinn a'Chreachain. Followed Allt Coire an Lochain down and crossed Water of Tulla easily (after a long dry spell) at NN 359472. | TRG318 | 04/06/2023 |

1/5 With Pete. Warm day but overcast until late afternoon. From car park just off A82 on track to Achallader Farm. Path from just beyond car park leads off to the right to bypass the farm itself. Over the railway and followed the path along Allt Coire Achallader to the col. Easy path to the summit. Excellent views. Onwards to Beinn Achaladair. | millionmts | 03/08/2021 |

Clare & Skye - not the fastest - but a sunny day nevertheless. A bit of a faff getting past the farm at Achalader - good car park - rubish routing. Followed the railway tracks in - historic. | Scmccabe | 25/04/2021 |
Had a cracking day, on the hills with Nicky Creadland bagging two Munros; Beinn Achaladair (1038m) and Beinn a’ Chreachain (1081m) and the two subsidiary Munro Tops.
Accessed from Achallader Farm off the A82 just north of Bridge of Orchy, it started a bit misty and the midges were out in force, but they had fled and the sun had come out by the time we reached the south Top of Beinn Achaladair.
The views down to Loch Tulla and across Rannoch Moor were stunning, we had a slight confusion on the summit of Beinn Achaladair, as the summit photo was taken at the cairn at 1036m, rather than the actually summit at 1038m, but as we had walked over the summit, we still bagged the Munro.
While ascending Beinn a’ Chreachain the mist came in, which denied us a view, but since we had already been spoilt with the views, I’m not complaining, 09:15 hours all in. | chillyman8 | 19/08/2020 |

First ascent of this top. B an Dothaidh looking very impressive. With brother and his family. Temp in high 20s C, so very slow. From car park and Coire Dingean. Fine ridge, steep descent via next corrie (not advised!]. Beautiful views to the Ben, Cruachan etc. | niallp | 28/06/2018 |

Solo, running, glorious blue sky, sunshine, firm snow. Good views and rapid progress in microspikes. | NorfolkPT21 | 01/04/2018 |
Parked at Pubil (end of public road in Glen Lyon) and cycled track along N shore of Loch Lyon to the ford in Gleann Meurain (NN394426) (easily crossed in current dry weather). Then up Beinn Mhanach and traversed across to Beinn a'Chuirn. Retraced to col between the two, and roughly followed the old fence line down to Lon na Cailliche (col to Beinn Achaladair). Then more or less straight up to Achaladair S Top and along ridge to main summit. Continued along ridge, down to col with Beinn a'Chreachain, ascended Meall Buidhe, then Beinn a'Chreachain. Retraced from there and along to the 961m top, before descending grassy slopes back to track in Gleann Cailliche, and return to Pubil. | kdbennett | 11/05/2017 |
