Parked just beyond the cattle grid on the way down to the shop and walked up the track to Fheadain then back to Beiste and down the thick heather, boulders and rocks to the north (better to go down than up) and over to Creag Dhubh. Contoured back to track.StueyB28/04/2023
Why would anyone with any interest in hills be lazy enough to drive up here? Anyway the gate is now padlocked. Good paths from the Polbain side are more attractive than the mast road. Lovely after dinner evening viewpoint.daviemore18/07/2022
Small weather window in a storm. Parked at the mast, wind speed 40, gusting 50-60mph. Good views, must be superb on a better day.iangalbraith06/11/2021
Had planned a short route from 45m spot height and cattle grid WNW of summit on return from Ben More Coigach & Sgurr an Fhidhleir. Fortunately spotted log by bolton indicating could use access road. Reasonable tarmac track with a few potholes but no gate or signs saying private so why not. Parked outside old radio station and followed road to new 4G infill mast then rough ground to summit and trig pillar returned more or less by same route. Less than half mile there and back.mntainman17/09/2021
This second time with Bob in awful weather. Drove most of the way.Play2End11/09/2021

Wet day so opted for two lower hills with radio mast tracks, 1/2 as others drop to highpoint and quick up and down between showers. Summit clear though clouds down.N.Morters09/08/2019
W Dave Wragg after Beinn nam Ban. Sunny and warm, with breeze – cloud further inland. Up and down TV mast road. Rounsfell29/06/2019

Did this in a summer dress and sandals! that's how easy it is. Spectacular view.elizyanne01/06/2018
Taking the back roads from Ullapool to Lochinver and while sorely tempted by the lure of Stac Pollaidh, this was a much more realistic goal. The 360 panorama was beyond compare.Craigieboy4408/03/2018
The perfect hill for a rest day. All of 220m of along and 19m of up. Stunning views out of all proportion to the effort required.Gill26/12/2017

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Can't believe I haven't log trigs from 2015, just sorting through photos and noticed these. We must have driven up to the masts as it was late and we had walked to Cnoc An Lochain Deabhaidh earlier.thejackrustles13/12/2015

Parked between the two lochs on the west side, near the junction to Old Dornie. Easy ascent. Some people were climbing the mast when I was there. Went up HuMP afterwards too. Alone.AGWilliamson19/09/2012
