Great hill, unfortunately weather bad by this summit Richard Tait10/09/2023
From Oreval. Descended north, then west down Caadale Iar, quite awkward terrain. Joined the surfaced path about 210m asl, up to the loch outlet then generally easy slopes and reasonable ground west to the summit. Cloud base about 300m sadly.Owen B23/05/2023
Parked at Amhuinnsuidhe outside the gateway. Followed the track up to the dam. Lovely ascent up the ridge to the summit. Sunshine! Solo.Dangerous Dave05/09/2022
Started from track end at 053078, walked to the Hydro Power sta and went up the slabby rocks to gain the SE ridge. Hard going but a pleasant climb, airy top, with good views.IanHHill28/05/2022
From parking 400m up dam road, then northward on track. Headed NW up Strath Leosaid (first 500m of path and small badges do not exist now) for around 1.25km then steeply uphill to summit ridge.willyross04/11/2021
From 055082. To the dam and then a direct ascent in wind and drizzle. Saw mothing apart from CM. 4 hours.bolton10/09/2021
Amhuinnsuidhe to Loch Chliostair dam on mountain bike. Then: Loch Chliostair > Loch Maolaig > Tiorga Mor > Loch Maolaig > Loch Chliostair > Lag Garbh > Oireabhal > Lag Garbh > Loch Chliostair. Back by bike.Winterfloodian15/10/2020
Parked 400m up road to dam again to ascend my last 2000 ft Ma on Harris. I looked at the SE ridge route but decided on an easier way by the S and E shores of Loch Maolaig. Pleasant, very good corrie scenery. The couple I met on Tirga Mor were planning to descend that way. My descent was down the fine, quite narrow NW ridge- a walk all the way. Golden Eagles again, sunshine, St Kilda views- were becoming familiar and the Grahams were completed in 5 days! Plenty of time to do Ceartaval and watch Red-throated divers on Loch Bhraigh Bheagarais before making the easy descent down to the path in Glen Leosaid. An excellent mountain.pwheeler17/05/2019
From Ceartabhal, and on to Tiorga Beag.jonglew14/05/2019
Beautiful bright day with views to St Kilda. Cleiseabhal, Bidigidh, Oireabhal, Ulabhal, Muladal, Tiorga Beag, Tiorga Mor. Followed fine summit ridge to NE before descending S into glen. Excellent views, including towards Sron Uladal.RobertP22/05/2018
More eagles riding the thermals. A blessed day.summitter31/03/2018
With Graham Illing. From car near main road (10:45), past power station almost to dam and followed pipeline into corrie. Up to ridge and Oirebhal summit (12:35). Windy. Followed ridge to Ulabhal, then NW down to col and path N for view of Sron Uladail overhang (14:45). Graham returned from here; I took a steep route SW up to ridge and over Tiorga Beag to Tiorga Mor (17:05; in cloud). Went briefly SE on ridge, then down steep SW slopes to path and followed this back to road. Finish 18:45.dbb19/09/2017

Up Gleann Leosaid, via Loch Braigh Bheagarais in rain and snow, and down via Tiorga Beag and Loch Aiseabhat. Despite the clag, there were some great views in places, and the summit ridge was really good.Gill29/03/2016
Parked at track to Salmon farm (drive up to end of tar). Overcast, high cloud, mild good views and rained on return to track.iangalbraith28/09/2014

Tiorga Mor (NB 055114) solo walk with K at camp for day. Windy, overcast 2000 feet. Longer, safer route chosen from Loch Aiseabhat rather than SW ridge.John Young01/08/2014
Ascended with Donald and Lorraine in fantastic weather from Loch Leosaid via South East ridge to south of Loch Maoliaig. Descended via Glen Leosaid. Repeated on 26/05/2014 as part of a wider traverse of the North Harris mountains.raffemeister25/05/2014
