As others, parked in layby by start of RoW to SW - Over M6 footbridge, NE & NNW up track & then over wooden fence to high point on edge of old quarry.gerrybowes27/01/2024
Parked at SJ852399 and followed the right of way, then turned left along the ridge. Very nice hill.Mark Jackson01/04/2023
1st of 3 hills on a circular from Hanchurch Woods car park. I left the summit near where i had parked till last and instead followed the right of way through the Hanchurch ponds and then took the footbridge over the M6 only to find it gated and covered in barbed wire. I managed to squeeze through a gap in the centre and was soon on the Two Saints way where I encountered a 90 year old man in very good nick who said the footbridge had bever been in use. Summit easy to locate just off path. Continuation to Tittensor Hill...Dazingdale11/03/2023
Parked in lay-by on A519 near footbridge over M6 to SW. up FP then along Two Saints Way to the top. Crossed fence to get to HP then realised I could just gone round fence a short way north.PeterD24/11/2022
Went from Trentham Gardens to a stream near some old buildings, steep path to the top which is over a fence. Went with whole Family.speedyclimber13/11/2021
Trentham to Tittensor. Took a while (using older mapping) to find that access to ROW was not via the congested Gardens entrance area & then that motorway bridge I'd hoped to use is not accessible, which meant extra car dodging on A519. Otherwise a pleasant outingSmudge13/11/2021
Revisit with whole family. Hopped over wooden fence with Felix at summitRoguePulsar13/11/2021
Parked in layby off A519, SJ 853 399. Circuit of Kingswood Bank and Tittensor Hill.PGCE11/11/2021
A road closure thwarted Hanchurch Hills today so we went to the layby on the A519 and walked up to the KB HP. All delightful terrain with easy tracks. The woodland was open enough after the summit knoll to get views of Mow Cop and the Roaches on a lovely summer-like afternoon.pwheeler25/09/2021
From A519 layby, over M6 and up to topBramley19/07/2021
Lovely snowy walkPeteF29/12/2020
M6 diversion, From the layby on the A519 next to the M6 bridge carrying the public footpath.johnkenyon18/01/2020
3 of 15 on 45 mile bike ride. As others from lay-by on a519. Past the abandoned Laguna. Upto footbridge over motorway had to pass bike and myself through hole in fenceThe-Z-Man31/12/2019
Fascinating painstaking survey work by John Barnard and Graham Jackson in identifying hill 2 as the highest bump along the sandstone ridge. Perfect access from lay-by on main road to SW from where a fp leads over the M6 and leads all the way up. If you lug a folding chair and hamper up here on summer Saturday evenings you could listen to the open air concerts down below at Trentham Gardens, or pay to go in and pitch your gazebo.Chris Pearson06/04/2019

Walked as part of Two saints Way .. started TittensorD SID06/03/2018
Hp is at edge of steep bank, by a low wooden fence with grass and bramble underfoot. There are a few views and a few trees, Motoway noise is intrusive. Pleasant walk up through woodland and rough grass on woodland path ( free map from Reception) from westbank of Trent accessed via small bridge west of the huge Garden Centre, as marked on map, but not signposted from the free carpark. Follow small road towards golf course; ignore turning to church. Small parking area also at start of path. The summit is outside the paid- for Trentham Gardens .Denise 26/12/2017
Outside of Trentham Gardens fee paying area. We walked up from the huge free Trentham Gardens car park. Pleasant lightly wooded sand/pebble summit though M6 noise intrusive.RichardM26/12/2017
From layby to SW at 853399. Over motorway footbridge and up an obvious path which bends left near the top. HP is just over a low fence by the edge.clivevilla15/12/2017
Short climb from layby on A519. Snow showers on the way up.RoguePulsar08/12/2017
As Dugswell. Nice spot sandwiched between Stoke and the M6.Campbell Singer02/07/2017
From layby at SJ853399. Visited all candidate lumps as identified by RHW. Met a 'Trigger' - ProSpec.summitsup30/04/2017
From usual layby. Good grief its a noisy spot. Main top has an inferior view to that from the western top.stig_nest29/04/2017

Parked in large lay-by on A519 then over the M6 bridge to walk along the quarry edge. Good milestone near parking spot.Dugswell214/01/2017
Parked in large lay-by on A519 (SJ 85296 40018). Visited all 4 summits as described by RHW.David Evans12/12/2016
Eight-tump circuit west from Trentham Gardens: Oulton Heath - Coombesdale Hill - The Ridding - Berth Hill - Camp Hill - Whitmore Heath - Hanchurch Hills - Kingswood Bank. Hoped to traverse from the north but thwarted by high barbed wire fence on motorway bridge at SJ852408 so headed 800m south along road to ascend by public footpath instead. Visited all four summit contenders. Good views both sides of the ridge.davidpettit8423/10/2016
As RHW, from good parking spot on A519 to SW. Then bridge/track over M6 and up hillside to high point overlooking craggy hillside.Aye Jimmy06/03/2016
From Monkey Forest cp. Past the Go Ape stuff & follow Trentham Gardens boundary fence through two gates & down a dell, over a bridge & steeply up the other side. To the four bumps on the ridge. Woods closed due to high winds, but ignored it because it wasn't windy.ngthack18/11/2015
From SW, good parking at start of farm tk/bw. Visited all 4 summits, from SE to NW 1) 183m on 10k (SJ 85815 40160 tree stump); 2) small co but possibly the highest (SJ 85660 40319 quarry edge); 3) 188m on 1:50k but obviously lower (SJ 85643 40401); 4) 184m on 1:10k (SJ 85560 40509). On basis of 1:10k 4) is highest although 2) may be higher, needs a survey.RHW24/01/2015
From bridge over what must be the noisiest and busiest part of the M6: An SSSI inside a 6 foot high wire grid fence, but with wooden footpath gate. Following comments from RHW, (expecting the grid ref to be revised) I went back on 21/01/2015 to visit the true high point on the ridge running North from the SSSIGordonAdshead06/08/2014
Tittensor Hill and Kingswood Bank from Trentham Garden Carpark. Had a good walk around the mapped high point inside and outside the Trentham estate.rhalstead01/03/2014
