My eight ascent. Still my favourite hill. The trig pillar has been freshly painted white obscuring the Live for the moment motto.KevPalmer16/05/2023
Staying in N Berwick tonight so walked straight from my hotel in the centre. Via the lodge/ park but should have followed the signposts to the John Muir Trail- NOT to the Law. Eroded paths with lots of short cuts on the hill, but a top full of character, interest and views. On a late afternoon of 40 mile views, a bonus was Dumgoyne, further away and sillhouted against the low sun. Back via rly stn, the posh but hugely welcoming Nether Abbey hotel for a **** special bar meal, then back to hotel in the last of the day's light over the links (and a few town centre pubs). Special afternoon /evening walk. NB Witches are advised to start and finish at the Law car park, well out of town!!pwheeler17/09/2022
From the car park, up the main path and then to the summit marker. Stopped half way up for a romantic picnic with my girlfriend.JAdair9706/08/2022
From Law car park. Great viewpoint.willyross13/06/2022
With Carol M. From car park off B1347 and up signposted path on south-western side of hill. Path very dry and crumbly in places, with plenty of alternatives en route. Warm and sunny, with many visitors from children to elderly, but stiff northerly breeze, especially at summit. Bass Rock well seen, together with the small islands to west of it, but Fife coast and Lammermuirs to south both quite hazy.mainnirnamfiadh04/06/2022

From car park - just in case I didn't when I was about eight (nobody alive to confirm). Given the number of kids today, I suspect we did.SS20/10/2018
From railway station (2 trains an hour from Edinburgh) - Short walk into town centre & picked up John Muir Way to The Law Car Park. From car park, up well-used paths to trig point, viewpoint indicator & replica of a whale jawbone arch; original arch erected in 1709 as a beacon for homecoming sailors. (S)gerrybowes15/09/2018

No doubt lovely but not in a foul Easter easterly. Went up in trainers with a pole : mistake, resulted in a bum slide which never seemed to stop.Owen B30/03/2018
A splendid hill, justly popular. No idea why it's got that daft replica of a whalebone on the top though. When I got down, Scoob, Fi and Alan were just on their way up.Gill10/02/2018
