Talla Cleuch Head, Broad Law, Cramalt Craig and Clockmore from Megget Stonehummusg07/03/2024
From Cramalt down the southern hillside to a point just north of Pykedtone. Skirted the western side and onto Clockmore then followed sheep trails to the summit. Wind was behind me and was lovely to get out of the mist.JAdair9705/02/2024
Round from meggetstone, via tall cleugh over, broad cairn, then hare law, cramalt crag, with finally clochmore. Conditiond deterioted marked from hare law with appaling underfoot and overhead conditions with snow settling and high wind.cjo10/12/2023

Clockmore - Cramalt Craig - Notman Law - Dollar Law - Fifescar Knowe - Hunt Law - Broad Law - Talla Cleuch Head. 19 miles. Cool strong Easterly but fine day otherwiseGary Heath19/04/2023
With Rod from car park near Cramalt up track then out to Dollar Law. Retraced steps then on to Cramalt Craig returning to road via Clockmore. Windy but we got away with it weather wise with only half an hour of rain.SS23/03/2023
A circuit in the clouds with fences for handrails from Notman Law to Cramalt Craig and then crude compass work to Clockmore. I saw a fox when coming off Clockmore. Challenging fence and drop to the road.langskill07/02/2023
From reservoir parking area to east. Up grassy field to gates, then a wet field to another gate. Then tried to link up non-heather areas to summit. Got soaked.Minto30/10/2022
Parked at the first car park (when coming from Talla Reservoir) on the Megget Reservoir and walked back along the road to the Megget Stone, then up the fencline to Fan's Law. Where I met a new 6ft Deer fence, with a pedestrian gate (on the lines shown on OS explorer maps) decent path / sheep trail over to Talla Cleuch Head, through the new 6ft deer fence again to gain the actual summit. Then followed this back to Cairn Law and up to Broad Law itself (still the old 3ft stock fence along the shoulder). Some guys were working in the Radio Beacon, they had previously worked on the Lowther radar station aswell. Along the ridge with a decent drop and ascent to Cramalt Craig. Then southward to Clockmore, with a lot of heather bashing to decent back down to the car. Dry with occasional sun and high level cloud 05:05hrs all in.chillyman831/08/2022

Parked at the cattle grid by the Megget Stone. Talla Cleuch Head (the deer fence is well-gated so it doesn't matter which side of it you're on), back to Cairn Law, Broad Law, Hunt Law, back to Cramalt Craig and finally Clockmore. Steep descent to the road and a lovely walk back to the car in the evening sun.tsharp04/08/2022
Faint ATV track most of the way from Cramalt Craig. No path found descending to the bridge SSW.49pp29/07/2022
Parking at Megget Reservoir. ATV starts at U-bend (NT195231) up to around back of barn, but fizzles out before it reaches the intake fence. Grass corridors can be linked up, but then the final heathery dome has to be tackled to Clockmore. Summit is bad tussocks and it is rough going to meet faint ATV track at about NT180237. ATV improves up to Cramalt Craig. Good ATV to Dun Law, Fifescar Knowe, Dollar Law, Notman Law, then deteriorates over Shielhope Head, rough going to Lair Knowe, Greenside Law, then fair ATV toward Black Rig, then RoW to Craigierig.Isbjorn04/06/2022
Wide roadside verge for parking approx 1km NE Meggethead Farm (NT 1775 2174). Up to Lamb Knowe, Tods Knowe and Cramalt Craig, then dropped down to here on the return for a pleasant 9k round.jonglew29/03/2022

As others, from Cramalt picnic site.PGCE25/10/2019
Parked on wide grass verge on W. side of bridge at Cramalt & up Notman Law, Dollar Law, Fifescar Knowe & Cramalt Craig. From Cramalt Craig, down ATV track to around 176235. Lost track & made way over rough ground to start of NW ridge - Up ridge to unmarked tussocky summit which lies close to an ATV track which I obviously missed. Descended E. ridge back to Cramalt. (S)gerrybowes30/07/2019
Solo from Linghope parking area directly NE up heathery steep slope to unmarked summit of C. Continued NW towards Pykestone Knowe on atv track/path up shoulder of Cramalt Craig. Sun was out but clouds were thickening. First visit was also solo, on 19/09/2015.jacobus25/05/2019

A round of Donalds, tops and XTops from Meggethead. With B and R in warm sunshine.jenx19/04/2019
From Cramalt up track to frost covered fence which was followed to Cramalt Craig's cairn. Visibility improved as I dropped south and got great views of Megget Reservoir by Clockmore. Returned east to Cramalt easily enough.SS05/01/2019
Parked on the broad verge of the reservoir road just east of Linhope Burn. Hopped the fence, veered initially W and later E to the summit, walked a few yards to the brow of the ridge for an excellent view of St Mary's Loch and Megget Reservoir, and descended to a gate on the road 50 yards E of the car.Nick Down119/10/2018

Parked at the picnic site at Cramalt, and eventualy settled on the corner of the road to the houses as the best place to cross the barbed wire fences! Climbed up shoulder to top od Clockmore.derekblackburn19/03/2011

In Moffat for a couple of days, day 1 started solo near the high point of the road between the Talla & Megget reservoirs near the Megget Stone. Straight up the slope NW out to Talla Cleuch Head & then following the boundary to Broad Law. Then NE until just short of Cramalt Craig & then NW following the boundary to Hunt Law. Retraced steps most of way back & turned NE then N over Dun Law & Fifescar Knowe to Dollar Law. Followed the boundary all the way back to Cramalt Craig before heading SE over Pykestone Knowe & Clockmore before dropping down the steep & heathery slope to the reservoir & then a wander back along the road. A warm, sunny day where I misjudged the amount of water I needed.NotReallyABagger31/08/2010
Parked by Megget reservoir in water board car park. (Told off for doing so - its out of bounds). Up road to farm crossed a BWF steeply up a second field. Detoured to left to cross a wooden construction in a corner and followed fence on a slope to a final corner crossing to open moor. No WDP that I had expected. To top at 10.20. No cairn. To Cramalt.arranc06/08/2009
