Parked on the minor road (R335) near Doo Lough and approached via what is known as the ramp, to reach Five summits Mweelrea, Ben Bury, Ben lugmore West, Ben lugmore and Ben lugmore East returning via the ramp route. Eleven and half mile in Seven hours.WAYNE ROWLETT10/09/2023
Parked at bridge just north of Delphi resort, headed west on forestry tracks along Owennaglogh river , noting small footbridge carrying water pipes for return. Continue beyond forest on track and around north east edge of western, second forestry section on boggy path. Ascended SE ridge, steep and grassy via point 595m with intermittent paths . Amazingly it was dry and clear. Impressive views east into steep walled Corrie. Summit plateau has cairn at HP. White sandy beaches islands and inlets in view.. Continued around grassy ridge to Ben Bury and back to car. Great route.Denise 26/06/2023

Finally after three visits to area in bad weather a window for our final county top. On my birthday from Delphi. Mighty tussocks on lower slopes but very pleasant higher up.nickywood103/09/2015
Started from the bend in the road at Dadreen. In mist and drizzle and then strong winds later when heading south from the col to the summit. Saw little from the top. 3 and a half hours with GB.bolton01/04/2015

From Doo lough, tough walk via grassy rampRoen16/08/2011
Definitely an adventure. However the group split and only 3 of us made the summit! So we're going to do it again via White Strand this time.Audi-Anne17/07/2009
club meet, 4 in party, mist, snow ,sleet and windy. 12 miles, from cp at doo lough, across bog to a coire then a slanting band to a gully, stepped round over rocky side and kicked steps in the snow to the top. out to benburys summit where the mist cleared for a good view, on out to mweelreas summit via a ridge, back to the col below banbury for lunch and then continued along ben lug mores ridge, nice and narrow with cliffs on side and step ground on the other in a snow squall. over the west summit, the main summit and east tops and out to pt 760. then a descent is before descending to the bridges over the owennaglogh and back to the main road and finally the car.rum doodle 26/03/2008
Of all the County Tops this was the most enjoyable. I climbed it as part of the Mweelrea Horseshoe starting and finishin at the Delphi Adventure Centre. Condition and visibility were perfect.Harry Goodman25/05/2005
essentially a massive bank of grass and peat, but very shapely, compact summit, fine coums and good walking. acw circuit from bridge 841651 RHW03/06/2004
