Carried on from Nephin Beg, but took wrong ridge off nthat and added 40 min to an already long day. Went via Lough Kilnabinnia. Very long walk back along very boggy Bangor Trail. Last 45 min in dark : good job I took my head torch!!IanHHill20/04/2018
Advised by local to drive down forest track to 954117. Onto open hillside at 937123 (mild forestry difficulties). Ascent & descent via coire/lough/SE ridge at 923129.jimbloomer19/06/2010
fa, with wife, hot and sunny, 17.25 miles, from srehmore lodge, western way, bangor trail, leaving the trail to climb to nephew beg south top, continued to nephew beg through some peat hags at the col, descended steeply to the lough then up steeply towards slieve cor, stony slopes lead to the summit cairn of slieve cor, great views, returned down towards the log but then straight down to the bangor trail and followed this back, a bit soft in places.rum doodle 12/04/2009
