Parked in layby at track end to SE. Initially followed track then open hillside with large eroded path. Large summit cairn but grass near damaged trig is higher per Abney. Also 1848 stone plinth, where tricolor raised’ for the first time’ . Suberb viewsDenise 20/06/2023
Up-and-down from parking area north of Kilcash. A straightforward ascent up to summit on a very big path. Returning the same way. This hill was a bit eerie as it looks like it should be a very busy hill but was deserted for the whole time we were there. Ok views from the top but severely restricted by haze today. Very warm too. 475m ascent.DanTrig13/06/2023

Parked in Kilcash village at IS 31455 28074, as roadside parking by the hill path was full. This added another 100m to the ascent. Walked up the lanes to the parking area at IS 31780 28826, taking the signed stony path between walls until it emerged onto the open moor by a plantation. From there it was a simple slog relentlessly uphill on a wide path to the summit plateau, sporting a trig (highest point), stone pillar and a huge cairn. Returned the same way. This hill can be busy at weekends in sunny weather, like I had that day. You will not have it to yourself. 8.5km, with 600m of ascent.Man of Kernow110/10/2021

Walked up from Kilcash village. An easy climb.IanHHill12/10/2018
A lovely spring day walk with my partner to mark our anniversary! It was great to finally summit as had often drove past with an envious look, longing to explore! Enjoyed the incredible views from the top and then spotted a Fox and a Stoat on the way back down! Couldn't help but sing the lyrics to Slievenamon (folk song) throughout the day!Gerry the Ranger16/04/2018

Walked up the stations of the cross, really nice route up as per Paddy Dillon. Nice viewpoint as it stands alone but you can see over to Knockmealdown and Commeragh mountains.nickywood123/05/2012
