Out and back from Killary Harbour, to Beinn Creggan. The start was a purgatorial slog through long tussock grass, probably more fun in the winter, but the reward is a great ridge walk and an amazing plateau.Gill01/09/2014

fa, with wife, 6.8 miles, v hot & sunny, from drimmin at r335, lots of clegs, they swarmed all over the car windscreen! glendavock river, up hill onto the ridge to ben gorm, becoming rocky on the ascent, ben creggan south summit and then its top. great views, descended its east ridge with a section of rough ground and ditches to get back to the carrum doodle 13/07/2006
