From the car park at 129377 (14:15) followed track, keeping left till sharp turn R towards the hill. Then straight along track till edge of wood and followed fence line to top (15:00). Stayed dry but rather misty, so view limited. Back same route; finished 15:35dbb23/09/2015
From the S by the track marked - it goes no further than marked and going was rough on upper 1/3.jimbloomer02/09/2015
Trig pillar on 4m tumulus / chambered cairn. From ENE, forest car park, obvious route. Late evening ascent after dropping Adrian off at Belfast airport. Nice view down on Rathlin Island which we visited this pm, but no view of Islay now. 1 hour round trip a bit quicker than expected. Last hill of a 3 day bank hol weekend trip: flight home early tomorrow.RHW04/05/2015

Climbed from Ballycastle using part of the Ulster way and then branching off on one of the forest tracks and then over a gate and straight up. It is as beautiful as I thought it would be. Cotton grass. Lovely views that are only apparent when you get close to the summit. Fantastic view of Rathlin Island and the Antrim plains. I have meant to climb this hill for years and finally got the chance to do so on my Ulster way walk from Portstewart to Belfast. I had planned a rest day in Ballycastle!Dazingdale08/07/2013
