first ascent, solo, 11.3km, sunny. short walk from road across some peat hags / cuttings & bank to the trig point of pollnalaght, another suspect rise was visited as well. continued across heather to an old lane way, then minor roads, across B 84 & a short distance along to side road, then a gate and a lane up hill to some old shillings, up across the hillside to the summit of Dooish, visited another small rise before descending. | rum doodle | 08/05/2010 |
