Route from Kieron Gribbon’s book Ireland’s county high points a single mile walk taking half hour from the car park for Loughcrew Megalithic Graves at 58194 77517.WAYNE ROWLETT15/09/2021
A 10 minute walk up from the car park brings you to the megalithic graves and burial cairn. Unfortunately, after 5000 years or so the burial cairn on the summit has become unstable! so not only is entry to the cairn forbidden, but you can't walk on it to bag the highest point. As RHW suggests, a natural high point may be a rocky outcrop just outside of the surrounding fence to the south west. Well worth a visit.Derek_Snaith25/07/2020
Revisit from the campsite at Loughcrew visitor centre .chalky195323/06/2018
Walked up from car park to visit the neolithic burial mound and got a county top as a bonus.VirtualMountain24/04/2018
Standard route from W, popular hill on a sunny Sunday. Luckily someone had key to burial chamber so we saw the rock art - v impressive. Natural HP might be outcrop to SW just outside fence, duly visited.RHW03/05/2015

Car park at the Loughcrew Megalithic Graves - Went up the steps & then took the designated path to the cairned summit of the burial chamber. (PM)gerrybowes13/09/2014
very easy access form the signposted carpark - signs are to Lough Crew however, not Slieve na Calliagh. Lough Crew is the name of the Megalithic Cemetary in the top of Slieve na Calliaghtyaslevesley25/09/2011
Great views, long drive, 10 minute walk...Roen23/07/2011
Pleasant grassy ascent and lady had key to burial chambers and torch so we had a cautious glance in. Nobody home!nickywood106/05/2011
Also on 21/09/2008. Delighted to arrive and be told we could enter the Neolithic Tomb and see around. The guide was lovely and full of information. Most people call the place Loughcrew! Cornhill even easier actually, because we got to drive to the top!Audi-Anne26/08/2008
The easiest of the 32 by a large margin. Hardly a 'walk' at allroscorrocket28/08/2000
