Summit 4/11. A horseshoe walk of 41.1kms done in 13hrs and 5mins. Started up Church Mountain 544m, went around the forest and up Corriebracks 531m and then on to Lobawn 636m. Followed the tracks as much as possible and Table Mountain 702m and Camenabologue 758m. Then left the normal tracks and did Camenabologue SE Top 663m, Benleagh 689m, and then up Lugnaquilla 925m and then took the tack down to Slievemaan 759m and Ballineddan Mountain 652m. Headed to the road between Ballineddan Mountain and Keadeen Mountain and took some shortcuts and forest tracks up to the summit of Keadeen Mountain 653m and took a steep descent to the small country roads near Spinans Hill. Followed the small country roads/lanes back towards Davidstown where we hitched back to the car! | simoburn | 18/02/2014 |
