7.9 mile circular from parking space in road corner at Cwm Banw. Followed good path not marked on the map from road corner straight up through field across road and up by woodland to access land. We followed the access land boundary along until meeting the Beacons Way. We then ascended easy paths up to Pen Cerrig-Calch and then followed gentle ridge up to Pen Allt-Mawr. First time I have seen the trig toppled over. It was standing when I was up here last in 2016. From here we followed easy paths onto Pen Twyn Glas descending the Tal Trwynau ridge down to fields and just before reaching farm we followed a signed path (not marked on maps) heading down to the road bend where we parked. All hills bagged for the 5th time. 588m ascent. Saw only 3 people all day as I think the 34c forecast put most people off. Clear and sunny with a surprisingly stiff breeze.
