Skiddaw (930m) a Furth Munro had a huge group from Liverpool on the summit, I finished on top of Skiddaw Little Man (865m), a Hewitt. 7.2 mile circular from Dodd Wood car park. We followed the Dodd summit trail up to the top. Descending than ascending out of the woods and onto the steep path to Carl Side. Then we headed easily towards Long Side, along edge to Ullock Pike. These must be the 3 closest together Wainwright's in the Lake District. We then descended the ridge steeply to just before Watches. Then followed paths near the road through the woods back to the car park. 846m ascent. Great clear views from Dodd especially towards Scotland. Carl Side was in cloud, but we soon left it on Long Side. A few people about.DanTrig14/09/2022
Dodd>ullock pike>longside>Carl side>skiddaw>lonscale fell round. From Keswick to millbeck then around Dodd Wood as replanting going on. The diverted footpath is not much of a path.keenwalker02/09/2022

Start from Sawmill Cottage Cafe at Dodd Wood carpark.Stayed on Bassenthwaite side up good paths to summit. Descent again towards Bassenthwaite - steep and not recommended since through dense woodland - better to retrace tracks from summit and follow main tracks.Ulysses28/03/2022
