With Karen, Creise via NE Ridge of Stob a'Ghlais Choire, to Clach Leathad in thick mist, descent over Meall a'Bhuiridh | Highland Days | 20/08/2021 |
Ascent from the Glencoe Ski Centre via Stob a' Ghlais Choire and then on to Creise. Visted Clach Leathad before climbing the second Munro of Meall a' Bhuiridh and descending back to the Ski Centre. | knarf | 02/08/2021 |
From Creag Dhubh via Meall a' Bhuiridh. Quintessential hill-walking, lots of solid and broken rock on the ridges either side of the bealach. A great stillness. On descent of Meall a' Bhuiridh, watched paragliders launching from Creag Dhubh, gaining an incredible amount of height fast. Last leg by chairlift. | Wycombe Wanderer | 30/06/2021 |
Great day out with amazing views | Kevthecat | 23/09/2020 |
I had an interesting day today, Munro bagging above the Glencoe Ski centre. I got two Munros; Meall a’ Bhuiridh (1108m) and Creise (1100m) and two Munro Tops; Clach Leathad (1099m) and Stob a’ Ghlais Choire (996m).

Parking at the ski centre, I headed up underneath the chairlifts for Meall a’ Bhuiridh, then over the connecting ridge to Clach Leathad at the southern end of Creise ridge. I failed to take a photo on top of Creise as I saw a second cairn which I thought was higher, only to check my GPS on this second cairn which told me, I had walked straight past the Munro summit cairn. It didn’t matter as I was heading for the Top of Stob a’ Ghlais Choire and expected to come back over Creise (plus I wasn’t turning back as the hordes were approaching).

I met a couple as they came up out of Glas Choire, which I had already ruled out as a descent route, since it looked too steep but they said it was ok.

So I headed down and cursed them repeatedly, but I made it, there is a thin re | chillyman8 | 30/08/2020 |

With a friend from the start of the track to Alltchaorunn. We followed the track, continuing on a path, and then climbed the steep NW ridge of Aonach Mòr NW Top to reach the summit. We continued to the two tops of Aonach Mòr, of very nearly equal height. We found a way down and up to Creag a' Bhealaich and continued northwards to Bealach Fuar-Chathaidh and Clach Leathad, followed by the deleted Munro Top of Màm Coire Easain and then Creise. The final summit was Beinn Mhic Chasgaig. A good day with interesting ground to navigate through. | pwbellarby | 12/06/2009 |
