| The Classic Grisedale Pike and Eel Crags ridges, all of them visiting 11 Wainwrights, along with 4 minor peaks. Parked in Braithwaite, then up Grisedale Pike via Kinn, and along the ridge visiting Hobcarton Crag, Hopegill Head, Gasgale Crags, and both Whiteside summits. Back to Hopegill Head and over Sand Hill and down to Coledale Hause. Then up Grasmoor, and back along the ridge to Wandope, and up to the impressive Eel Crag. Then down the Causey Pike ridge via Sail and Scar Crags, before cutting across to Outerside. | 8 mile walk from minor road to east. Followed road then steep path up to Causey Pike. From there it is an easy walk along the ridge to Scar Crags. Then we took the zig-zag path up onto Sail. From Sail we descended the zig-zags again and path across to High Moss, then ascended Outerside and followed ridge across Stile End and Barrow descending to minor road along path north-east from summit. 974 m ascent.
