Walk: Martindale St. Martins- Dalehead- Heck Crag- Brock Crags- Rest Dodd- back down NW ridge- The Nab- N. ridge- St. Martins Ch. I used the stalkers' track to below Nab End: round W of the ridge, though narrow in places, it went well- after some very wet weather; no need to go anywhere near The Bungalow- gates/stiles and a trod all the way to the track. Private sign at gate to road but NB Access Land notices with 'preferred routes' Clouding over with some rain in the air at times from Rest Dodd after sunny start.pwheeler16/03/2024

15 of 15 starting at st. Martins church. From rest dodd and wow what a descent that was virtually vertical. Slid down most of the way. Taking a look back I’m not sure what would of been worse up or down! Wainwright no. 107The-Z-Man03/09/2023

Hartsop > Pumping House > Rest Dodd > The Nab > Satura Crag > Brock Crags > Hartsop. Solo walk, light rain turning heavy for a couple of hours in the middle of the walk. Wind was also far stronger than forecast, I'd estimate 35-40mph. Had to bypass the hags on The Nab completely to the East. Very wet underfoot but cloud base kept high so views throughout.johnkaysleftleg31/03/2023

Had snowed overnight so the approach round the side of Rest Dodd had some relatively decent snow drifts to navigate. Peat bog approach was wet and hard going. No deer sightings. Tough hike after a 10 miler in the morning. Lovely views over snowy summits on the way up but galey (although dry) on the way back. With GFEFionalevey27/03/2021
From Rest Dodd, descent initially N then becoming very steep on icy ground so traversed left to W face and zig zagged down v steep grassy ground to traversing path, thence to N ridge beneath all difficulties.Jim T22/12/2020

A there and back route from Rest Dodd across the bog, in the rain and low cloud. A small cairn on top with views of the valley. After, we traversed towards Brock crags to avoid going back up Rest Dodd.Joel45116/08/2020
Solo walk. Hartsop --> Gray Crag --> Thornthwaite Crag --> High Street --> Kidsty Pike --> High Raise --> Rampsgill Head --> The Knott --> Rest Dodd --> The Nab --> Satura Crag --> Hartsop. I was worried the approach from Rest Dodd might be too boggy but it was actually fine. Some tricky route finding over all the peat hags - but great fun.hannah&steven07/08/2020
Bannerdale Horseshoe. Beda Fell, Angle Tarn Pikes N & S, Buck Crag, Rest Dodd & The Nab. Fine weather, nice situation.ger29/07/2020
