Fancied a walk during half term week so I asked my grandad if he would take me for one. He drove from Hull to pick me up in Wakefield then we drove to Clay Bank car park. Easy direct walk along the Cleveland Way to the summit then back along the moorland tracks running south west them north along the ridge. Kept up with Moorsman my grandad (who is 76 and shot up the hills). A 260 mile round trip for him.Mollyb05/11/2023
From Chop Gate, lovely sunny day, no snow.Flatfield09/09/2023
Via Cleveland Way from Clay Bank car park. Returned to road via bridleway running roughly west and one running round the edge of the escarpment to join our route up. Then continued up White Hill, along to Wainstones and back to the start via forest tracks. Mainly sunny, some cloud and wind. With R.clyoung08/08/2023
