Started at Fersit, bit of a scramble up to Stob a Choire Mheadhoin with great views of Loch Teig. By the time I'd got to Stob Coire Easain the cloud had descended. Steep descent on grassy surface and then followed the track all the way to the railway bridge and then the path to Corrour Station.tsharp20/05/2023

From the car park at Fersit. Weather started off okay but once I got to the hydro pillar it started raining and it was cold with it. I soon realised my down coat was useless and I was soon wet through. I heard a Ptarmigan and Golden Plover on the way up but the mist was down so I didn’t see them. The cloud cleared occasionally but above 800 metres it was foggy. I had to change into dry clothes as I was shivering. I reached the cairn on Stob a Choire Mheadhoin but didn’t linger as there wasn’t a lot to see. I quickly reached the col and headed up Easain where there were a few accessible snow patches which I visited. The summit of Easain I ate my lunch at the cairn and the cloud did break occasionally to give some views. There were some snow patches clinging to the steep face just below the summit. I waited but the cloud didn’t break so I headed down. I met the 2 ladies that set off at the same time as me just below the summit. They were headed back over the tramway where as feeling dejeisabelle09/06/2022
Staying at Bunroy Park, Roybridge with the caravan for a few days. Parked at Fresit 09:35, followed the WalkHighlands route. Up to the Hydro Pillar first then Meall Cian Dearg, which was more scrambly than I expected. Stopped at the summit of Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin for lunch followed by Stob Coire Easain for 14:00. Returned the same way, when I rejoined the track I caught a lift back to my car, after cheekily (and jokingly) sticking my thumb out and a nice local guy stopped and offered a lift. Sunny in the morning then overcast with a couple of spits of rain around 16:30, 07:40hrs all in.chillyman802/06/2022
From Bun Roy campsite. Very windy - a little rainyounggl27/05/2022
From Fersit, via Loch Treig dam, the track through the sheep fank to the hydro pillar and the path over Stob a'Choire Mheadhoin to Stob Coire Easain. Returned the same way and took a buffeting from the wind on Meall Cian Dearg and the descent to Loch Treig. The wind was funnelling up the loch and stronger here than on the summmits. Superb scenery throughout.Nick Down115/05/2022
Cracking day out with Brian Smith. very tough conditions with thick snow from the start.Kevthecat05/01/2022
Solo fr Fersit, half-running; after drive fr Selby, Ft Wm about 1pm, checked in Allt Mor (Inverroy) then up here. Well-broken cloud, lovely evening sunshine, mild temperatures and a fresh S wind. Back here 6:50pm after visiting St C Easain, then long, slow-feeling descent, took forever, back same way to car.NorfolkPT2130/05/2021

Climbed with Rob and his friend Jon. High winds with icy snow above 2000' requiring crampons. Some stinging icy blasting, white-out conditions and very cold, but also occasional views and sunny spells.banksey14/11/2013
Climbed with Maggie. Travelled from Kinlochleven. Loch Leven gave mirror reflection because it was a sunny day with no wind. Lovely views till got to summit. Sat down and clouds closed in a minute later. Lunch in lee of cairn but little protection from wind.dave neilson14/09/2013

Traversed from Stob Choire Easain after cycling from Spean Bridge to bothy at head of Lairig Leachan. Descended grassy slopes back to Bothy and then decided to defend Lairig to end of Loch Treig and on to Loch Ossian Youth Hostel. The trip was slow because the path was not cyclable until we got Loch Trieg by which time it was nearly 10pm and getting dark.david.walker4005/05/2013
