Second visit, on TGOC22 | Colin Crawford | 21/05/2022 |
Did the ridge on the other side of the cateran way last week, and fancied a return for this side, rotten day though, real pity its a lovely ridge. Lots of unusual flora on the cateran track, lovely. | hils | 09/07/2021 |
From Spittal of Glenshee, along Cateran trail to col, then along ridge to Meall Uaine, continuing to Meall Odhar, descending directly more or less NE, reaching the road at about NO129677, back along the road | kdbennett | 05/06/2021 |
Snow-shoed up to Meall Uaine from Spittal and then down to Creag Bhinnein. Very thick snow, which allowed us to step over gates and fences with ease - only a deer fence proving a bit tricky with tennis racket feet. | summitter | 31/01/2021 |
From Spittal on snowshoes. | daviemore | 23/01/2021 |

Parked at Spittal of Glenshee, at the derelict hotel. Took the Cateran trail for a short distance, then ascended the grassy NNW ridge to the summit. Continued on to Creag an Dubh Shluic. Superb day with lovely views. | LizH | 27/09/2020 |
Parked just north of Corrydon. Through field and gate, then ATV track into corrie. Meall Odhar and Meall Uaine. | PGCE | 22/07/2020 |
From Enochdhu out the Cateran trail, taking right fork before Calmanach wood, then NE on to the ridge up to the top. Great views then on to Meall Odhar. | Simon Winton | 29/04/2020 |
From Spittal of Glenshee, parking at the burn out hotel, up the Cateran Trail which starts opposite. Followed path to highpoint then walll/fence to summit. Highest point unmarked appears 20m or so north of cairn nearer the wall. Down by the prominent grassy ridge with AW track to follow. ...but for a few feet on the col this quiet hill would be a much busier Corbett. Nice hill and great view. | N.Morters | 30/11/2019 |
a good 7 top round starting on grass tracks north of lair, meall odhar, meall uaine, cnoc meadhon, cnoc a chaorainn, cnoc an daimh, lamh dhearg, creag an lair. | robertphillips | 01/08/2019 |
Dropped bike at Spittal of Glen Shee and drove S about 2 1/2 miles to a lay-by from where I cut up to Meall Odhair from where I headed N with the wind on my back over Meall Uaine crossed the Catalan trail, up Creag an Dubh Shluic and on to Ben Earb. From there roughly E to Catalan trail and back to bike. A very pleasant day. | dickscroop | 23/02/2019 |
From Spittal of Glenshee up Cateran Trail to bealach and then followed fence and walls to summit. Continued northwards along a nice and undulating ridge. | benalder284 | 27/12/2018 |

Solo. I walked from Spittal of Glenshee to Meall Uaine. I started by going up the right of way to Enochdhu. I returned by keeping more or less to the north ridge to reach Spittal. It was cloudy/misty on top. There was no rain. | pwbellarby | 06/11/1994 |
