From view point car park and along the forest tracks. Hot day… ended up 30degrees for Sept!N.Morters09/09/2023
Via forestry road from car park on main road. Could have driven around half but wanted to walk. Varied the return by different tracks which were much more interesting.KevPalmer07/09/2023
Drove along the forest track to approx SE949 946. Pleasant 1km stroll to the summit. Good views over farmland.LizH07/09/2023
3 of 3 on 9.25 mile hike starting at low north bridge. From Bowden hill descended down to road to darncombe hamlet then took path next to beck at langdale end this led through muddy path till finding a steep path that led upto main track. Wide open track then followed round to summit areaThe-Z-Man23/04/2023

From Lownorth Bridge, up on to the ridge and then along the forestry track. The summit is just in the young trees at the end.clivevilla13/03/2022
From minor road in Harwood Dale, via bridleway, then forest track.IanHHill02/03/2022
easy walk until final yard or two fighting through the gorse and bramblesgrumpy14/01/2022
Last hump bag of our stay at Scarborough. Not really one to have to return for. The forest tracks are open to drive along. Lovely bright morning, first for some days. Decided to take the exercise from the car park. The woodland fringing the track is mixed and not deadly pine plantation. It opens out for the second half, giving views across farms and moors to the north. While a pretty dull summit, the journey to it is not at all the worst.Pete West23/08/2021

Steep slog through motorbike tracks from Langdale Rigg. Unremarkable summit approached via a good forestry track.mrs_ts730/03/2019
From Reasty Hill Top in the snow. Plenty of people out.Clach Liath20/01/2019
Amateur Radio activity. Walked from Reasty Bank car park. As others have noted, tree felling has taken place at the summit area and care is needed not to damage the new trees that have recently been planted. A pleasant walk along the forest trail with some great views. Watch out for speeding quad bikes on the forest trails.G0DEB55907/10/2018
From road end 2.3 km Sjimbloomer27/09/2018
Drove along forest track & parked by Y-junction at SE94936 94636 - Pleasant walk along edge of escarpment for less than 1km & then wandered around the felled area for about 15 minutes. As others have noted, the high point may well be close to the bend at the NW edge 9393 9464. (S)gerrybowes27/04/2018
Drove along track to as far as possible, walked the last km or so. All flat and on good forest vehicle tracks. Wouldn't have a clue where the HP is, just went to the GR.jonglew12/03/2018
Former plantation, felled, with tree stumps etc and knee high saplings. Area all very flat but high point appears to west, close to edge and track. Nice forest, moor and coastal views on clear sunny day. Approached from Lownorth bridge via muddy RoW then good forest track.Denise 04/12/2017
From Lownorth Bridge via very wet bridleway then forest track. Extensive area of levellish clear cut forest planted with sapplings. Roughness of surface hampers location of high point but after a wander around I'd go for close to the NW edge at SE 93930 94639.RichardM04/12/2017
With Jenx and Bryher drove along to the further end of track, as others clearly do routinely. Glad we had as afternoon showers becoming heavy. Cleared top now replanted with spruce. Lovely views into northern valleys.nordicstar10/09/2017
A nice walk from the parking spot along the track. Good views into the misty valley.Summit area replanted, so will be interesting in years to come.jenx10/09/2017
With K. Duller than it looks. Many people had driven to 949946, which I wish we had done.Ashley19/02/2017

3.5 mile round trip from Reasty Bank car park to the east, all on the level. Top has been felled but is very flat and full of tree stumps! Good views to north and west to Langdale Rigg End.citygent29/02/2016
With Danu & Alfie. The summit is currently completely cleared of trees and mulched so easy underfoot.Dangerous Dave28/11/2015
With Jo, from Reasty Hill Top cp: tracks to Barns Cliff End then paths/tracks to Langdale Rigg End (top and trig), returning via track to Murk Head Farm and then Reasty Road. Weather; sunny, warm, good visibility.amblerbob01/09/2015
Approached by car on forest road from east with no problem. Tried to descend south but half way down the hill came across huge puddle - well more like a pond - and no way to judge depth or condition of ground under the water. Decided not to risk it in my little Honda Jazz.ijpowell10/07/2015

Sunset approaching as Jamie and I walked up the final km or so of tracks, having driven in from Broxa to the south to about 942933 Found the summit area felled with clear views north and west. Delightful and felt fairly remote.vegibagger10/04/2015
The road from the Forestry Commission car park at Reasty Bank to Broxa is a public road and can legally be accessed by vehicles. park where it turns SW and walk along the ridge. Easy bag if you drive in.moorsman09/11/2014

With Bev. Trees have been felled at the end of the hill so now a lot easier to spot the top although covered by tree remains which makes it a bit awkward to get to. Top possibly where marked but could also be just by main track side before the junction with the one coming in from the south east.simon and co24/01/2014
An almost flat walk on wet forest road,s with some views to the N through trees. To GPS ref point at a junction. No view - trees. My 2,000th HuMP, plus 3 others where I failed to get to the tops.arranc21/11/2012
Another one close to home, no takers on 2m but managed to qualify with HF.G4OOE20/07/2012
Walked in from the car park at Reasty Hill Top to the east. Needed the GPS to locate the high point in the trees, not at all easy. The nearby triangulation pillar at Langdale (S6331) which at 244m overtops this is a much better destination.yorkie31/01/2012
