Glen Shiel Ridge seven from the Cluanie | liljonb | 01/08/2021 |
Parking at the Malagan layby, I headed up to Bealach Duibh Leac, over Creag nan Damh, bypassing Sgurr Beag. The ascent up Sgurr an Lochain was bruttal, but Sgurr an Doire Leathain was more manageable. From here I descent the NE shoulder to pick up my bike that I'd left at NH 036 119 on the A87. The downhill ride back to the car was fun. Blue skies and very warm all day, 09:20hrs all in. | chillyman8 | 25/07/2021 |

Camped at Cluanie and did the ridge from Creag a Mhaim but continued to Sgurr na Sgine (ascending straight up the face) and dropped down to Glen Shiel via Faochaog. Had left bike at the road, but still tried to hitch. Gave up and cycled back to Cluanie as midges were biting. | jigglybones | 29/05/2019 |

4/4 munros - weather improved a little on summit - got a view to west. snow eased. Some mildly tricky scrambling in deep snow to summit. Then descended back to Bealach and out through Am Fraoch-Choire. Now dark. Nav around the 'ravine' is difficult but found a descent route just to east side of the waterfall | wychwood | 28/01/2019 |
From A87 near Cluanie Inn, along track to SE and up Creag a' Mhaim SE ridge, then along S Shiel ridge to Creag nan Damh, descending back to A87 Eas-nan-Arm bridge | kdbennett | 19/08/2018 |
Gosh that was tough. The lowest point on the ridge, but thankfully the lowest of the munros but still around 200m of ascent. Relief that the 7 are done. A wee bit drizzle but thankfully it stayed away until we reached the road. Lift arrived at the road about 10 minutes after us so all was good for my lift back to the car. | LizzieG | 07/07/2018 |
