Revisit. From the bunkhouse, up Gleann an Dubh-Lochain and back over 10 summits N of the glen. 9/10PGCE27/03/2024
From the bunkhouse up the Mam Barrisdale track to around 804995 where there was a bit of a layby, followed a deer track up to a prominent rock, then across the 198m flat bit, then up onto the ridge at around 803016. Followed the ridge over the summit, then obvious path down the ridge, around the top of the impressive Slochd a Mhogha, then South then East to reach a stile over the deer fence. Then followed the path through the wood down to Inverie and back to bunkhouse. 8 miles.JulieB03/05/2023
Up the usual route from Inverie, SW ridge then along to take in Stob an Uillt-fhearna. Descended roughly S from there straight down to the track; decent going higher up, before becoming increasingly rough and tussocky. Track back to Inverie always seems to take longer than you think, but we had the satisfaction of getting the views before the clouds descended. 13.8 km, 4h 15Rockdoctor04/04/2023

Hard slog up steep slopes for the overweight and unfit! Great view to Ben Nevis.ardmairjohn31/05/2021
Clockwise circuit from Long Beach camp site with John - very hot, blue skies tempered by the occasional gust on the ascent. Descent was brutal as we mistakenly cut across the side of the hill rather than continue NE down the WH route - ended up descending steeply on some very rough terrain. around 4.5 hours in total.mproudfoot30/05/2021

Superb hill from Inverie. JC DC. Bruce Watt ferry from Mallaig to stay at bunkhouse in Inverie. Dropped kit and set off directly up the SW flank of the hill through deep bracken. Amazing opening views to Jura, Skye Eigg etc. Steep initial ascent followed by an excellent short ridge to the summit. Midges on top. Carried on E along the ridge to the low point and descended close to another fault line. Relaxed for half an hour and eventually made the track in the glen through deep grass/rocks. Lots of voles! Back to the Old Forge.Martin6614/06/2010
With Martin66 & JC as per his report. Probably didn't take the smartest route up the initial slopes. JC disappeared beneath the bracken at one point, but once up, it's an interesting & quick ascent & a magnificent viewpoint. Continued along the connecting ridge to the bealach underneath Stob an Uillt-fhearna & dropped down SE through thick stuff to meet the track leading back past the monument to Inverie. A worthy peak for a glorious summer's day.NotReallyABagger14/06/2010
