Loved this walk but so cold on the top. Normally a great view but cloud low and very windy. Walked right over and dropped down next to lodge. With Gmac xelizyanne29/05/2022
Tidying up a loose end on a blue skies day. Nice stroll over rocky Meall an Tairbh with fine views, starting from large parking area at the end of its E ridge, track to start. Then on to Beinn na Muice, a tedious grind up steep bog grass, thankfully dry and crispy. Much more interesting once on the ridge, though I was looking wistfully at the nice, easy, Munros and Corbetts all around. Fine view of my car 600m below. Descended to Monar Lodge for a nice easy stroll back along the reservoir, superb views.Gill21/04/2022
Up the east side, steep! Enjoyed the ridge and views. Descent by the south side and returned to the Toll a’ Mhuic trackfasgadh02/09/2021
After Strathfarra 6 came down this ridge. Descended east. Couldn't see full drop from Carn Daimh Bhain so apprehensive. However, no rocks to navigate, just very steep grass all the way down - no problem. Biked out of glen getting back to car at 10pm to find the gate open and unattended - is this normal? 12.5mls of torture for nothing.carole engel30/05/2021

With Dave Roeder. Parked at 223392 (9:45) & took path NE up glen, then E ridge to summit. Fine rocky peak. Wonderful blue day, long views all round. Descended W ridge to Monar Lodge. Crossed both dams (imposing water-fan on 1st), & cont to B Dubh an Iaruinn, following grassy ridge up from southern dam over lump to summit. Then cont E via the col to Meall Odhar.Doire nan Gillean, traversing both tops. Then back down to path, road & car (18:00). Wonderful sunny clear day, but sadly no time to do sm Marilyn by dam.dbb14/05/2015

from Loichel. Back to pack, over dam, up concrete steps to new road level to highest point before Lodge, steeply up on dry deer grass to a narrowing crest. Delightful ridge, relatively flat, but interesting crags, arêtes, etc. to top at 12.45. Diollaid, Strathfarrar, Gobhar, Lapaich in cloud, Innis looking minute, Monar Loch and dam, S na Muice looking fantastic and Ruaidhe.arranc06/07/2006
