Parked in layby at Old Manse, then up forest road from NH315551 towards E turning up old ATV track (initially partially overgrown) from NH 32557 55415, continuing to forest edge, then bearing right (E) to deer fence, over locked-but-climbable gate, continuing on ATV tracks to SE shoulder and up to summit, returning same way (2h05m)kdbennett29/09/2022
From parking at the end of the logging road at Dalnacroich. Took Nigel's route up the good ATV track at the second left hand bend, just before the main track descends to the burn. Pleasant walk up through the trees, ignore minor LH branch, continue to cross the burn and exit the forestry. The track continues. Take the RH branch contouring up to emerge by 2 padlocked gates in the deer fence. Climb the closest one and the ATV track continues to the SE ridge of the hill. Easy enough to the top up a mossy ramp, then lanky heather, finally easing off to almost tundra. Stunning views, a nice walk, despite the howling gale.Gill09/11/2021
From Bridgend by estate road to edge of forest. Met ghillie who advised stalking in progress but my intended hills would be ok. On to MBG, MaCL and Craig Loch nan Dearcag. Returned by steep woodland to lochside track.lordtonult10/09/2021
I took the forestry track up from Dalnacroich where there is parking and then continued on until the tree clearance has been carried out giving access through brash to the hillside. Due North from here all the way to the summit. Superb views of the snow covered surrounding hills.Peterb09/04/2021
From Sgurr Marcasaidh, headed down to the east end of the forestry block. Tricky little burn to get over, more than a single jump but quite deep water so used the forestry fence at 3487957828 to climb along. From here, headed along the fence line then SW up to the top. Fine views and an easy cycle back down the trackSimon Winton23/03/2020
Up forestry track from Dalnacroich to around 326555 where a hard-to-see ATV track heads left through forest. If you start going downhill on forestry track to stream crossing you have gone 100-200m too far. ATV track goes through attractive woodland glade (take right branch at fork after 100-200m) to moor with fence then on nearly to hill summit. Caution: tic central, we found more than a dozen tics on the pair of us, despite no high heather.willyross29/05/2019

Parked at NH 315 552 at start of track. However, this is used by large vehicles so might be better just west of church. Forest road, then up through trees along Allt Ach-Lorachain but would be easier using N.Morters way. Then climbed fence next to two locked gates! Then moorland to top. Fine viewpoint.Alan Moore24/02/2018
As Nigel M. Parking just after church on right up forest road about 100m. Also note gate in forest fence just before it turns SE, but locked. Sunny, calm, cold, snow and stunning views.iangalbraith04/02/2018
parked at bend just west of bridge, up through clear fell then straight up through well spaced scots pine to open ground to the top.robertphillips07/10/2017

With Elizyanne. Roadside parking at NH333580. Across Wire bridge and then had to go round the newly felled area. once round up through remaining trees, over deer fence. then on to summit. Return same route.GmacT06/11/2016
Early morning ascent from Dalnacroich. Track gains height well, shortly (50m) after 2nd sharp bend GR 326555 a beautiful grassy track up through the wood and exit onto hillside. Direct line over moorland, return same way, 90mins up and down, first of 3 hills.N.Morters22/10/2016
With Jenx. Parking at road bend GR334550. Acros wire suspension bridge. Pretty easy, river in spate underneath made it interesting. Once over cut up through open pine/larch to first horizontal track then onwards to open fell. Easy enough, just windthrow to avoid which is easily possible. After that straight in up to summit. Back same way in 1.40hrs.nordicstar05/02/2016
Direct ascent from the footbridge worked nicely.jenx05/02/2016
From Dalnacroich using forestry track. easy climb up through mature forest just after bend. Then followed quad track after deer fence almost to summit. Followed same qt all the way down through forest. Beautiful in morning sun.Campbell Singer27/10/2015
From Dalnacroich, ENE up track to break in track banking at about 332554, up into steep but comfortable enough mature pine forest and onto open hill. Easily surmounted a deer fence at elevation 400m. Vegetation short, terrain surprisingly smooth, no wind and the steady light rain was probably preferable to midges.Topographer5715/08/2015
Footbridge at NH33414 54969. Cateful on bridge as there is a big space between walkway and sides. Follow track winding up and then make own way through trees to deer fence. Nice views.Martin R16/05/2015

Ascended from Sgurr Marcasaidh. Dropped back down to track in Gleann Marcassaidhe for return.JohnW04/06/2009
Parked at Dalnacroich. Out of forest, steel ladder over deer fence. Edge of forest to pass small loch. Long 2 mile trudge over confusing undulating hillocks and long green finger of moor to final rise of 300' into mist to top. 14.10.arranc12/06/2007
