Beinn Eich, Cruach an t-Sidhein and Doune Hill, from Lusshummusg06/02/2024
Started Shegarton Cottages, up to Luss, Mid Hill, Doune Hill, Beinn Eich and back. The walk along Loch Lomond back to cottages was peaceful, even tho' A 82 nearby. Crossing it, not much fun tho' Company: Soloiandesbottes02/09/2023

From Luss, long road up the glen.iangalbraith08/06/2023
From Cruach an t-Sithein. Descended to the first col point 515, then contoured easily to the second col point 544, then grassy path to the top.Owen B22/04/2023
11.4 mile circular from Glen Douglas. We headed across the bridge to Doune Farm and as others mentioned we used the field gates to the south to avoid the farmyard itself. A long and relentless pull follows up to Doune Hill East Top, then another drop and steep little pull up to Doune Hill. From here we followed the grassy trail along the easy ridge to Beinn Lochain and Beinn Eich descending to Edentaggart farm using the avoiding footpath, then we followed the very wet track into Glen Mollochan. We lost the track for a while in a boggy area but the going wasn't too bad until we re-joined the wet track, back around Doune Farm to the car. 1160m ascent. Great grassy ridges with amazing views. Not a cloud in the sky over the Highlands today and we could see for miles. Very windy though. This was the main reason we were not doing a Munro today. Saw no other walkers.DanTrig20/04/2023
Managed to arrive early enough to park at the start of the minor road up the glen. An anti-clockwise round of 4 Marilyns, 2 Simms and a sub-Simm.Minto05/02/2023
From Luss CP, straight up and back around the top of Glen Mollochan. With FY.TRG31801/02/2023

From Luss. Beinn Eich - Doune Hill - Cruach an t-Sidhein. Dismal day of rain and mist. Good luck finding a parking place at the end of the track.Jhimmy30/04/2022
From new cp in Luss, up Glen Luss almost to Edentaggart farm, then marked foot path across fields and finally a steep pull onto summit. Fine views of all Luss hills. On to Cruach an t'Sidhein as part of four Graham round.MichaelF27/03/2022
A nasty early start from the Invergroin CP for a round of 4 Luss Grahams from Doune. Decent ATV track up the glen and over the river to get through tussocks and onto the W ridge of Mid Hill easy enough to top. Down good but steep, then boggy path to road and detour around Edentaggart, over Beinn Eich, traverse to Cruach an t-Sithein, then back to Doune Hill, Doune Hill E top, then the steep and sh1tey ATV track back to Doune.Gill16/03/2022
Great, clear day with Anne B from Doune in Glen Douglas to Glen Luss. Last of 5 for the day starting with Doune Hill East. Just over 10 miles and 7.5 hours to 351934 for the car.bolton16/03/2022

From the hillwalkers' CP in Glen Douglas, taking the ATV track up Doune Hill East, crossing the steep bealach to Doune Hill and going over Beinn Lochain to the shapely but inconsiderately located Cruach an t-Sidhein, before redescending and traversing to the dip in the ridge before Beinn Eich. From there I returned over Beinn Lochain, Doune Hill and Doune Hill East, passing just below the summits of the first two and following a sheep trod that contours around Doune Hill East before rejoining the ATV track and is clearly visible on descent from Doune Hill, starting from the outflow of the lochan in the bealach.Nick Down117/04/2021

from Glen Luss, en route to Doune Hill and Cruach an 't Sidhean.IanHHill17/09/2020
Parked at Luss. Intended to cycle up glen but bike broke, so walked, starting 9:05. Good path over Beinn Dubh to Mid Hill (11:15). Then trackless descent of W ridge before long climb up to Doune Hill. Made for col, missing NE top, then up to summit (13:05). Continued to Cruach an t'Sidhean, contouring Beinn Lochain. Trackless again, steeply up fence to summit (14:20). Back to col, contoured S of B Lochain then up ridge to Beinn Eich (15:50). Followed path down ridge to Edentaggart and back to Luss (17:40). Dry, some sun, warm; wet underfoot initially after rain. Higher tops around under cloud, but good views. Good day.dbb14/09/2020
Descending down west side of fence to col at 515m spot height, I really could not summon up the motivation to climb the extra 22m to Beinn Lochain (well it is only a sSim ;) ). So traversed around southerly slope between 560m and 580m contour, picking up well trodden ridge path between Beinn Lochain and Beinn Eich all the way to the summit. Brilliant views over Loch Lomond from summit cairn. No obvious path down steep sides to Mollochan Burn but found a safe route starting at 29791 95034, crossed the burn and back to the van over Sith Mòr.mntainman02/08/2020

Tick in the book day, extensive hill mist and a fresh breeze throughout. Just the one hill as there was little point continuing when there was limited visibility.Buteobuteo07/04/2019
With Doune Hill. Lovely walk. Great views.Langbank 02/01/2019
From parking area at NS309987 in Glen Douglas. Solo. After reaching summits of Doune Hill East Top, Doune Hill, Beinn Lochain and Cruach an t-Sìdhein descended back to the col with Beinn Lochain. Brief hail shower. Found and followed a narrow path that made a traverse across to the Beinn Lochain - Beinn Eich path. Went over Beinn Eich and down to Edentaggart. Up Glen Mollochan on track and then a track not shown on OS 1:25,000 map to get me back to Doune farmhouse and Glen Douglas.pwbellarby29/04/2018

12th hill of 14 today on an epic Horseshoe of the Luss hills from the Alderdale B&b in Luss, climbing Cruach Dubh, Beinn Ruisg, Cruach an Leinibh,Balcnock, Beinn Tharsuin, Beinn Chaorach, Beinn a'Mhainach, Cruach an t-Sidhein, Beinn Lochain, Doune Hill and Doune Hill east top, descent to col then profiling flanks of Doune hill and Beinn Lochain on traverse to Beinn Eich ridge then ascending this slowly to the top. I visited the cairn and marked the top as NS30210 94682. Awesome hill. Returned back along the ridge until steepness lessened and then began tricky descent to Glen Mollochan to cross two streams and ascend Mid hill from the Western ridge.Dazingdale03/10/2017
