From the car park opposite the new mast. Through two gates then right to NG 01866/93635, where the remains of an old wall can be walked all the way to the little col between Meabhal (380) and the summit of Bleabhal. The wall, being so old and well trodden by sheep is much easier going than the surrounding conditions.garbo110318/10/2023

From the Bagh Steinigidh car park, where a gate opposite affords access onto the northern flank of Bleabhal. A sheep worn path follows the line of a collapsed wall for much of the way up, after which it is a straightforward push to Meabhal then Bleabhal summit. Down the SW flank to Mula, before something of a contouring semi-reverse to the gap between Meabhal and Cleite Dhomhnaill and over to the Bolabhal Sgarasta ridge. The sunlit beach below was so tempting that from the summit we bound straight down in a NW'ly direction to enjoy some Harris sand underfoot, rejoining the A859 just before the golf course.summitter16/09/2022
From minor road to south over river then up onto south ridge, strong wind fantastic views.N.Morters12/09/2022
1/3. Bleabhal then Mula then Bobabhal Sgarasta. Parked picnic site through small metal gate next to track to the new mast. Then almost to cop using the path along dyke and then summit. Yomps to other two then down to road via Cleit Ghobha and 1 mile or so back. 3 hours roundnickywood118/06/2019
Parked at 019938. There is a gate to the right of the track to the new mast. Through another gate just beyond the mast then an easy climb on a dyke to about 023928 before heading for the summit. Rain and wind. Saw little apart from CM. Just over 2 hour return.bolton22/07/2018
From picnic area to N. Followed dyke along line of field boundary to just below Meabhal, then onto summit. Wind and rain. Saw v little. Easy going. With PM.CJM22/07/2018
From Loch Moracha to the south Omitted the Tump. My 1000th Scottish Marilyn.NormanW29/05/2018
Along the new path and bridge (the Hebridean Way) near Loch na Moracha, then up Mula, and on to Bleabhal. Somewhat windy at the top; the trig makes a useful handhold whilst being blown around to the true summit. The gale and an incipient lurgy forced a retreat from the Meabhal bealach.Gill23/09/2017
After Bolabhal Sgarista. Big rising traverse. Good viewpoint, then down the ridge and diagonally back to car parked under Bolabhal Sgarista. Much easier direct from golf club. With David Baird.Thearlaichdubh21/09/2017
With Charles Scott. From car at 000922 (12:45) climbed ridge SSE to Bolabhal Scarasta (by mistake) (13:30) and then traversed to Bleabhal (14:45). Pleasant walk; lovely views. Back over lazy beds to car.dbb21/09/2017
Roadside parking from Scarasta, up and over Meabhal first. On to Mula and Bolabhal Sgarasta for pleasant 12k jaunt with Andrew P.jonglew20/09/2017
From the old post office. Gradual ascent on mostly easy ground.AndrewFinnimore08/10/2016
Overcast day – not raining. From peat-cutters' layby at NG045889, return via Gleann Horsa-cleit. Rounsfell30/09/2016
Started from NG036885 via Druim nan Caorach. With Francis. Continued onto Meabhal, Bolabhal Sgarasta and Greabhal returning across boggy ground to road. Noted presence of a newly constructed path/track leaving the road at approx NG027884 in a northerly direction with footbridge over inflow to Loch na Moracha. We crossed the same 'path' at around NG003908 and NG020894 although at both points it was an informal path (slightly boggier than the surrounding bog)raffemeister03/04/2016

With Mora, from parking area at ng 019937, a peat wall gives good walking to higher ground.BLACKHILL09/06/2012
Parked at post office but parking further south near standing stone probably better. Done with Jim Bloomer & Mat Webster.Dugswell210/06/2011
Parked in a golf club layby. 4 or 5 fences to get over. Sheep and grass. Cairn 70m away probably of equal height to column 10097. 16.15.arranc17/06/2010

Revisit. Fine stony summit, in cloud this visit. Orienteering clip (A6) at trig, presumably associated with Hebridean Challenge; if so, they apparently leave them in place as the event was early July and I found several during my trip. Beeline from NW, Scarista. Just fitted in before the ferry back to N Uist, which was over 2h earlier than timetabled to avoid the very low spring tide.RHW30/08/2007
