SHC walk from Dollar Golf Club. Circuit of King's Seat, Skythorn, Tarmangie, Whitewisp and Innerdownie.TRG31811/12/2022
Round of hills from centre of Dollar by Dollar Burn. Walked up road on E side of Dollar Burn then track above Burn of Care. Then picked route through felled forestry up SW ridge of Hillfoot Hill. Descended W through felled area then steep area between older trees and young forestry. Took a steep and direct route to reach summit of Whitewisp Hill. Easy continuation to Tarmangie Hill, Cairnmorris Hill, Stythorn Hill and Andrew Gannel Hill. Descended E to beallach, then climbed outlier Elistoun Hill before returning to beallach and climbing King's Seat Hill. Descent ESE along ridge and then interesting path by Dollar Burn. Mixture of sunshine and rain.RobertP15/10/2022
From Glen Sherup CP up track and path to Innerdownie then on over Whitewisp Hill and Tarmangie Hill to Andrew Gannell Hill (which I'd missed by 30 yards before). Return via Cairnmorris Hill and a poor early choice down to Glen Sherup.SS03/08/2022

Beautifully sunny day. Loop from Dollar.quadbarrel05/09/2020
Round of Glen Sherup, widdershins. Warm sun, cool W wind, dry with some cloud. Views partial but long: B a Ghlo, Tinto, Bass Rock, B Vorlich etc. Saw 3 or 4 others, so quiet. Great walking: dam, B Shee, Cairnmorris Hill, Tarmangie, Whitewisp, Innerdownie. Not so hill-fit being first hills for months. Nice summitniallp20/07/2020
From Castle Campbell CP, Saddle Hill, Whitewisp, Tarmangie, King's Seat and Bank Hill.TRG31817/01/2020
I circled the summits around glen Sherup in the Ochil Hills, getting the two Donalds, Innerdownie (610m) and Tarmangie Hil (645m), plus a couple of tops, Whitewisp Hill (643m) and Ben Shee (516m). Accessed from the Glen Sherup forest car park, across the A823 from the Glen Devon Holiday Park. Clear blue skies all day, which was actually too bright and hazy to give any views to the south, but windy and cold on top, 04:25 hours all in.chillyman803/01/2020
Park of five hills covered from Castle Campbell, following sign to King's Seat, then down north side, across Burn of Sorrow and then to Tarmangie and Whitewisp.csinclair18503/01/2020

Parked at Glendevon and walked to Castle Campbell. Then King's Seat, Andrew Gannel, Skythorn, Tarmangie, Whitewisp, Innerdownie. Direct return to Glendevon on grassy path.PGCE26/02/2019
Small cairn but not at HP, which is by stile/ fence. Lovely views on delightful circuit from Dollar Glen mainy on good paths.Denise 05/10/2018
From Cairnmorris Hill, grassy ridge top with cairn, high point beside stile over fence. Rocky hollow on SW side where we join a friendly local for lunch in sunshine.RichardM05/10/2018
A terrific traverse of 8 Ochil New Donalds with Martin66, Smithy & MarkH with cars at both ends. From the parking area by the side of Castlehill Reservoir, up the track to Glenquey, followed cut grass path from NW of reservoir beyond its limit on map all the way to the summit. Continued easily over Whitewisp Hill & Taramangie Hill. Dropped steeply SW & slogged up the path to King's Seat (worth continuing to SE end for view). Dropped W & up path NW to Andrew Gannel Hill. Crossed fence & took direct path to Ben Cleuch: a rather untidy summit. Round to the bump of Ben Ever & down tracks to Alva Glen. Brilliant round in great weather.NotReallyABagger11/08/2018
Innerdownie, Bentie Knows, Whitewisp Hill, Taramangie,Scad Hill, Ben Shee. All but last two in mist. 4 hour round.Longwojo12/06/2018
3rd of 9.iangpark19/04/2018
Should have been easy from King's Seat Hill but mist came down and ended up going too far west and having to plod through horrendous deep snow and bog, one step staying on the surface, next step going down 4' all the way to the summit. Didn't fancy slogging all the way to Innerdownie so cut my losses and headed down to the well-named Burn of Sorrow. NB good parking at Upper Castle Campbell carpark.AndrewFinnimore12/01/2018
From here retrace your route back.smocks and denims04/01/2018
Glorious winter's day, snow on the ground, bitterly cold wind. Dollar to Glendevon over King's Seat, Tarmangie, Whitewisp and InnerdownieColin Crawford27/12/2017
Round of 6 tumps from Glen Sterup: Black, Innerdownie, Whitewisp, Tarmangie, Cairnmorris and Shee. Good tracks and paths, calm day with thin, high cloud and views into Galloway.Topographer5719/11/2017
Ascended in a strong wind via Innerdownie and Whitewisp Hill - returned the same way. A good viewpoint.JohnW25/10/2017
