Part of a 2-day backpacking trip from Llansilin to Llangynog via Gyrn Moelfre, Cadair Berwyn & Foel Cedig (+ incidental tops). Route and write up at: http://gayleybird.blogspot.com/2024/07/welsh-marilyn-backpack-day-2.html I wouldn't recommend my route to this hill. The track from the W must be by far the more sensible approach!Gayle17/07/2024
Linear walk with Jonny on a very wet Tuesday. Returning to the area to reclaim all the welsh Hewitts. (Foel Cedig reclassified).zaul_uk02/01/2024
Second Nuttall of the day, again, easy going at this point using the forestry track.simocity15/10/2023
Ascent along the fire track from Bwlch above Cwm Hirnant (SH 946 273), taking in two tops along the way. Easy walk on good track. Splendid views from the summit to Arans, Arenigs, Berwyns and PumlumonCumbriancyclist30/08/2023
Parked at 946273 and followed the track opposite almost to the summit. Visited Pen y Boncyn Trefeilw, a Simm enroute.Peterb28/08/2023
According to 3rd edition 2009 Cyrniau Nod is the Nuttall so that's where I went. Foel Cedig would have been more straightforward!KatyT12/05/2023
Cycle from Llanfyllin via Rhialgwym. Lovely spring day. Left bike on road!davechaffey12/05/2023
Belated recompletion of Welsh Nuttalls. Also revisited Y Groes Fagl, Stac Rhos and Pen y Boncyn Trefeilwr. With Howard Sutcliffe.JohnIvor05/05/2023

With: solo; Nuttalls walk 7.5. Good dry day with light wind and high cloudIan Baines09/10/2022
Updated Nuttall 7.5 from Bwlch yr Hwch: Foel Goch, Trum y Gwragedd (Trum y Gwrgedd), Foel y Geifr, Pen y Cerrig Duon, Pen y Boncyn Trefeilw, Stac Rhos, Cefn Gwyntog North Top, Cefn Gwyntog, Cefn Gwyntog Far North Top, Foel Cedig and Y Groes Fagl. Haxy, dull day, so there weren't even good views to distract from the relentless trudge through heather.Lazylizzie03/09/2022
7th Mountain today. Again following the track, a simple one to bag on route to the final mountain.Buckleymon15/08/2022

From the west, along track, making several detours to visit all minor bumps along the way. Back same way but taking two short cuts through sheep pastures.Minto25/05/2022
A revisit after bagging Cyrniau Nod in 2006 and the change in 2015. Drove up the col at SH946273 and took the bike up the track that winds its way around to the top. Undulating but pleasant with great views to Aran Fawddwy and Arenig Fawr. Walked up the last climb and to top for 40min total to summit. Cycled/pushed back in 30 mins. Plains Rally was taking place below in the forestry - didn't like the sound of the ambulance sirens on my return though or the air ambulance flying over as I got back to the car!robphys21/05/2022
As others from the west. Easy parking at the start of the track. Last 90 metres a bit of heather.destaylor22/04/2022

Did the Nuttall's route in 2018 and a couple of weeks later Foel Cedig replaced Cyrniau Nod and a Bridge summit was added! Went to Cefn Gwyntog Far North Top first as couldn't be sure whether I passed over it the previous year. Then onto Foel Cedig which was in cloud by the time i got there. 6.7 miles in an hour and 43.Herbert Anchovy28/07/2019

From the top of the pass using the track. After declining MP's kindly invitation to join him for the resurvey (other plans and an assumption that things wouldn't change!) it was about time I repaired my Berwyn records.summitsup09/06/2019
