22/01/2024 - first hike of the year. Aira Force & Gowbarrow Fell circular trail. With Jayleigh. 8.20km total this afternoon.Second day of Storm Isha hitting the UK; very windfy throughout, sharp hail once we reached the top and then sporadic rain / hail throughout the descent. Had to hold on to the Trig for dear life for fear of being blown over! Very boggy, boots, waterproof socks were very handy.LaurenAyres22/01/2024

Parked at the NT Aira Force car park (NT free) and followed the circular walk anti-clockwise to Gowbarrow Fell trig and nearby hp. Aira Force waterfalls very impressive with recent heavy rain.
